Research Interests

Current efforts in our lab include:

  • Reconstruction of protein interaction networks and complexes using mass spectrometry data
  • Integrative analysis of proteomic and next-generation transcriptome sequencing data
  • Improved identification and characterization of post-translationally modified proteins
  • Statistical analysis of error rates in large proteomic datasets and data repositories
We are a mostly computational laboratory. However, we are actively collaborating with many experimental laboratories at the University of Michigan and other top proteomics labs around the world. We also provide computational support for the proteomics facility at the Department of Pathology.
